Firewatch: How to Fix Micro Stutter Issue (100% Working)

Guide to fix annoying Micro Stuttering issues in High-End and Mid-Range Systems

First Things First!

Go to your steam library and go to your Game properties. Then add This code to your
Launch Parameters field.

-window-mode exclusive -force-d3d11-flip-model

Second Step (Optional if you know the Refresh Rate)

First of all you have to find your display refresh rate. (Maybe you know this already).
You can find it on display setting after Right clicking on desktop.

after that go to advance Display option and you’ll see it.

Third Step

Now is the important part.

Instead of using Riva Tuner for Frame Rate Capping, we can use Nvidia apps “Max Frame rate” Option to limit frame rate to your Display Refresh Rate (for me it’s 144) .

(This will tell the GPU Driver to Not output more than the given Frame Rate.)
You can Achieve the same results with Nvidia control panel.

If you don’t see the game in their, add it manually from this Option

Now Cap the ‘Frame Rate’ just as I mentioned to match your ‘Display Refresh Rate’

Done 🍾🦩

Final Touch

if your display doesn’t support any Adaptive Sync Tech like Gsync. make sure to enable V-sync from in game settings.

This will also helps to reduce stutters when combined with the above steps.
