Here’s a solution so you won’t need to rush and play more comfortably!
So you take Campaign Maps from Campaign Folders
Steam\SteamApps\common\Fantasy Wars\Data\Levels\Campaigns
Example:
if you want to edit Human Campaign, then copy and Paste maps from
Steam\SteamApps\common\Fantasy Wars\Data\Levels\Campaigns\Campaign1
Then put them to one of Elven Legacy Map Folders, so Map Editor would recognize them.
Example: Paste to
Steam\SteamApps\common\Elven Legacy\Data\Levels\Quick_Mission
Now open Map Editor, select version (I picked the first, it’s all gold in my version) and and once it loads, select “Open Previous Maps”
and then pick maps from “Quick Missions”, the Human Campaign Maps we have put there.
Once it loads, choose “Module” and then “Trigger Editor”
Then pick Parameters and viola! You can set your own turn limit for all three victories! If you want to basically forget about turn limit, just pick 98, 99 and 100 for Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively, you can also set the reward money if you want. And then without closing Trigger Editor window, save the changes IN the Trigger Editor. And then just pick other map without saving the map in Map Editor itself.
Why? Because Fantasy Wars has different scripts from Elven Legacy, and if you save the map in Map Editor itself, then map may not load, but if you save only Triggers, it will load perfectly. Remember, edit only TRIGGERS in the Map Editor.
Do this with every map you want to edit and viola! Now you can play without rushing.
