Okhlos Omega: Complete Hero List (Omega Update)

This guide is intended to be a quick reference for those who are trying to unlock all the heroes – two of the encyclopedia completion-related achievements appear to be bugged (and you’ll get them very very early without needing all unlocks), but you’ll still need most of the heroes to get the Trojan War and Argonaut ones.

Note: I’ve more or less finished the game but I’m still missing two or three heroes; I have their names but not their costs. Feel free to let me know in the comments and I’ll update it.

While you will almost certainly get all the commons and most of the uncommons naturally, the rares are.. well.. rare. They also have a prohibitively high cost in many cases, so it’s likely you’ll see them in shops multiple times before you can afford them. To avoid this particular kind of heartbreak, you can wait until you start a world with a caged hero in it, break that cage to free them, and then save and quit. When you continue, the cage will probably be there, or nearby, and you can get another free quick hero. Heroes unlocked this way will count towards your encyclopedia entries.

I’m not 100% sure of the seeding system in this, because while the levels usually seem to be the same when you save and quit, sometimes they aren’t. When doing this technique to get most of the rares, the location of the cage in the level seemed to indicate whether the unlocked heroes would be common, uncommon, or rare. Once it moved to a certain position, I unlocked 8-10 rare heroes in a row before it moved again.

Note: Big Bad Bold Bald Bronze Brute, Galatea, and Golem are summoned by Agamede, Pygmalion, and Loew. Despite Pygmalion mentioning Galatea in his description, I got Galatea and Golem from Loew and BBBBBB from Agamede, so I’m not sure if anything’s set in stone there.
