Guide for unlocking all of the achievements in Electronauts
Sequence all notes on all possible sequencers on every instrument
The wording on this one is pretty confusing. However, the only instrument that actually has a sequencer is the different types of orbs. For this achievement to unlock, you have to place a note on every space in the staff for each orb in your song. They do not have to (and cannot) be all placed concurrently, because you can’t put more than one note on the same beat for each instrument. Therefore, here’s what you should do:
- For each set of orbs, start recording so that the sequencer pops up.
- In the sequencer, click and drag through the top line of the staff so a note pops up on every beat (there should be 16 of them in total)
- Do this for each of the lines in the sequencer, and then for all of the other orbs, and the achievement will unlock
Jam in a single room for 15 mins or more
Self-explanatory. Just stay in one song for 15 minutes and this will unlock. I got this one naturally while trying to unlock some of the other ones, all in the same song.
Use the arrangement equipment
All you have to do for this one is grab the arrangement cube to open it up, then change something and hit save at the bottom.
Fill 4 rows on the arrangement equipment
Click the green (+) button on the right side to create a new row until you have four rows. Then, you’ll want to grab one of the tracks (the things called Intro, Groove, Drop, etc.) from the backing track pane and drag one into each of the open fields in your arrangement window. The achievement should unlock after this.
Played multiplayer
Unfortunately, multiplayer is pretty much dead in this game, so you’ll have to find someone to boost it with. I can confirm as of May 2023 that inviting someone to your game from your Steam friends list still works, and the achievement should unlock as soon as you load into the multiplayer game.
Play a song in each visualizer at least once
I did the Electronaut Pro achievement by just opening up the first 20 songs on the home screen, and after I’d done that, I was at 10 out of 11 visualizers already. For the last one, go to the menu view where you can see the songs sorted by genre, and open the first song in the “Experimental” category (Klip by Coral Fusion). That should get you all 11 visualizers.
Play an instrument consistently for 1 min
This achievement was really buggy and confusing in my experience. You’d think that the synth ball would be the easy way to unlock it, but that didn’t seem to work for me. What ultimately worked was just opening up orbs and rapidly swinging one hand at the top row and the other hand at the bottom row, for a minute straight. Make sure you’re doing it for a full minute, I set a timer for a minute on my phone right before I started swinging so when it went off I knew I was done.
Use the remix beat repeat 25 times
This one is extremely easy. Just open up the FX cube, choose the glitch button at the bottom, then put your pointer in the cube (I put mine in the “remix 2” section) and repeatedly press the trigger button.
Throw the audio grenades at your fellow electronaut
This is the other achievement that requires multiplayer boosting, other than Team Jam. If you’ve found someone to do that one with, just quickly grab a grenade and throw it at them. It seems the grenade has to hit the other person for the achievement to unlock, but this is pretty easy.
Have complete silence for 4 minutes and 33 second
Self explanatory. Didn’t unlock for me on the first try but did on the second. I recommend putting away any instrument windows so you don’t accidentally hit anything (I also turned off echo for all instruments to make sure the game wasn’t detecting that as making any sound). You can set a timer or just try to watch the clock until about 5 minutes have passed.
Have delay enabled on all instruments and hold down the filter in FX cube for 2 loops.
This one is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Just go into your orbs, grenades, looper, whatever other instruments you have, and turn on the echo button, then open the FX cube and hold down the trigger button. Not sure if it matters which setting you have the FX cube on, but mine was on sweep.
Play only the pad synth for 2 full loops with all backing tracks muted
I’m not sure what’s considered the pad synth, my best guess is that it’s one of the colors of orbs. I unlocked this one without knowing what I did, but I think it’s pretty clear that you should at least have the backing tracks muted, and if you play around with your instruments from there you’ll probably get it.
Mute the kick/snare stems in a backing track and then bring them back in
Self explanatory. I think just muting the entire backing track works, but not sure. Note that not every song has the same stems, so you might have to switch to a different song to get both kick and snare.
Play 2 orb kits simultaneously for 2 full loops
Pretty self explanatory. I opened up two different sets of orbs and played one with each hand. You can see the loop bar at the bottom, but you should start right before the beginning of a new loop and just keep doing it for two loops.
Use the vocal equipment whilst recording a sequence on an instrument.
Open up the vocals pane on one side of the screen, and open orbs next to it. Just hold down the record button while playing the orbs, and click a vocal track with your other hand.
Have a sequence playing on every instrument in a room
Self explanatory. Open up all your orbs, record something, and keep it playing. If you have a looper, move one of the columns so it makes sound. I threw a grenade just to be sure. If your room has a harp or synth ball, you might need to be playing that as well.
Play only the synth ball for 4 full loops
Self explanatory. If you’re looking for the synth ball, you can find it in the first song under the “Breakbeat” category, Imposter by Coral Fusion.
Clear 3 sequences in succession
Do this on a song that has at least 3 sets of orbs. Just record some sort of sequence on each of them, open them up in the left, center, and right panels, and then hit clear on all 3 of them quickly.
Mute 2 sequences at the end of a loop
It’s not totally clear how close you have to be to the end of the loop for this to count, but similar to Wrecking crew, just open up two orb sequences next to each other and mute them both right before the loop bar at the bottom starts over. You can even press one mute button with each hand to make it faster.
Throw an audio grenade when you transition backing tracks.
Open up the backing tracks pane. When you click any of the tracks at the top, the music will start to fade to that new track, and there will be a visible bar on the track you just clicked showing the fade. As long as you throw a grenade and it blows up before this bar has reached the end, the achievement will unlock.
Play nothing but the harp for 2 whole loops.
Self explanatory. Not all songs have the harp, but you’ll find one pretty quickly if you’re going for the Electronaut Pro achievement.
Record a sequence on an instrument, mute it for a loop and play that instrument with your sticks for a loop then unmute it.
This one is a bit tricky. It’s not totally clear if you’re supposed to replicate the recorded sequence, or just play anything you want on the instrument. I recorded a single note on the orbs and immediately muted it, then the next loop I tried to hit that same note at the same time (again, not sure if this matters), and after the loop had restarted again, I unmuted it.
Play every note on the synth ball in ascending order
The notes on the synth ball get higher as you rotate clockwise. There’s a point near the bottom where it switches from the highest note to the lowest one (at about 5 o’clock). Find this point, then start with the lowest note and slowly move your stick around the edge of the synth ball until you get to the highest note.
Play 20 different songs
Self explanatory. I recommend just playing the first 20 songs in the game’s menu, as you’ll encounter a stage with a harp so you can get Harp Lord, and you’ll see 10 of the 11 visualizers you need for Rocketeer. All you have to do is click on the song, then wait to get loaded into it and for the backing track to start playing, and then you can switch songs again.
Play every instrument type in the game
There are only 5 instruments that the game counts for this achievement–orbs, grenade, looper, harp, and synth ball. You should get the first four just by playing the first 20 songs in the game for Electronaut Pro, and you can find a synth ball in Imposter by Coral Fusion (first song in the “Breakbeat” category).
Throw a grenade and use the beat repeat to studder the grenade.
For this one, open up the FX cube (on glitch setting) and throw a grenade. When the grenade blows up, hold down the trigger button on the right side of the cube (make sure you are actually “glitching” the sound instead of using the remix FX), and the achievement should unlock.
