This guide will show you how to enable a reshade filter that raises the near-black levels to what they’re supposed to be. On PC, this game uses a gamma curve of 2.2 when most players will be using a monitor that uses sRGB
RESHADE: Lilum’s SDR TRC fix
To solve this, we will use a Reshade[reshade.me] shader called Lilium’s SDR TRC Fix shader, found in “Reshade HDR Shaders by Lilium[github.com]”

By default the shader wants to switch from Power Gamma of 2.2 to sRGB. Instead we want to switch from sRGB to a Gamma power of 2.2. So change the first entry to sRGB, and the second entry to Power Gamma. And that’s it! Now pure black remains black, and near-black becomes visible on an sRGB monitor.

Notice how both Adachi and Nanba’s hair fade to black too early in the Before image.
Thanks to Lilium for their fantastic HDR and SDR correction shaders.
