Witchspire: Rare Familiar Locations & The Lucky Clover Trinket

This guide maps out every rare familiar’s exact spawn spot and summoning condition in Witchspire, plus the Lucky Clover trinket for farming legendary gear from chests. Spawn timers, quest triggers, and hidden mechanics are frequently misunderstood — waste hours if you guess. I break down each familiar by its unique summoning method, time window, and map region so you can farm efficiently.

Overview

Locations and spawn conditions for rare familiars, plus the Lucky Clover trinket for legendary farming. Focus is on the trickiest finds, with map region breakdowns. Each entry includes exact time of day, level range, and any special condition needed. Five regions: Initial, Tower, Second, Third, Fourth.

Lucky Clover Trinket

Absolute must-have for farming legendary items from chests. Respawns every 2 real-world hours after pickup. Location: peak of the mountain — literally the very tip. Boosts legendary drop rate from all chests, non-negotiable for endgame. Mark the spot, set a timer, return exactly two hours later for a fresh grab.

Familiar Locations and Spawn Conditions

Bril

Must summon during day. Find a sundial, step on the button when the shadow aligns with the clock hand. Only one summon at a time. To farm a 3-star Bril, bring a strong wand and scrolls to kill fast, then summon another while shadow is still aligned. Timing window is tight — practice alignment before attempting multiple summons.

Gwaraofeerinax

Two confirmed locations. One is level 20/22 in an open elevated area; the other is level 30/32 inside a cave. Both have consistent spawns, but the cave is more dangerous — tight quarters and higher-level enemies. Bring healing items if you go cave route.

Etherit

Normal respawn day and night. No special conditions. Easiest rare to farm — same spots regardless of in-game clock.

Peb

Early quest mob. Incense isn’t available early, binding without it is nearly impossible, and the region is one-and-done — easy to miss. Peb only appears in the initial tutorial area. Missed it? Start a new save or trade with another player.

Vex

In a cave behind a waterfall. Part of an early quest. Waterfall is visible from the main path in the Initial Region. Enter the cave, follow the tunnel to find Vex.

Fien

Easiest spot is near Mirella’s hut. Appears at start of night, stays until a little after start of morning. Alternate location on the northern ridge of the Tower Region. Both have identical spawn timers.

Firra

Also near Mirella’s hut, in a hidden corner, or on the hill near the wand towers. Same timer as Fien. Check both if one is empty — they share a cooldown.

Traxio

Solitary dragon. Two locations at level 28/30. One near Mirella’s tents, the other on the eastern cliff of the Third Region. Long respawn timer — plan your route to check both in one run.

Verlai

Appears only at start of night, stays until a little after start of morning. Then disappears to make room for multiple Cindle. Rarest spawn in its area — bind it immediately if you see it.

Locto

Only appears when the sun is at peak, stays until a little before end of afternoon. Roughly 2-hour real-time window per in-game day. Found on the highest platform in the Second Region.

Carsce

Variant of Spectra that spawns alone. Low level but potentially worth leveling. Only one known location in the Fourth Region near the abandoned tower. Spawns randomly during the night, no other conditions.

Map Regions

Five regions for easier familiar reference:

  • Initial Region: Where the game starts. Contains Peb and Vex.
  • Tower Region: Contains Fien, Firra, and Traxio.
  • Second unlocked map region: Contains Locto and Etherit.
  • Third unlocked map region: Contains Gwaraofeerinax (level 30/32 cave) and Traxio’s second location.
  • Fourth unlocked map region: Contains Carsce and the Lucky Clover trinket peak.

For the details about Witchspire maps, please refer to this page.

Long story short: Lucky Clover respawns every 2 real-world hours at the mountain peak in the Fourth Region. Bril needs a sundial and precise daytime timing. Gwaraofeerinax has two spots (open area and cave). Etherit spawns normally anytime. Peb is a one-shot early quest mob. Vex is behind a waterfall, tied to an early quest. Fien and Firra appear from night start to just after morning start. Traxio is a level 28/30 dragon in two locations. Verlai only shows up at night until early morning, then replaced by Cindle. Locto appears only at sun peak until late afternoon. Carsce is a low-level Spectra variant with one known spawn.
