Before you panic and start searching every corner of the map, try the Exploration Sage in your camp first. It works for any fetch quest that needs special herbs, and in my experience it can also help with certain prey or enemies tied to a quest.
How to Find Specific Herbs
To get started, return to your camp and find the Exploration Sage. Click on the quest you need help with from their menu. This is the part I would have skipped past if I hadn’t known about it, so make sure you actually select the right quest.
After you click the quest, the game marks the relevant spots for you.
