Gachi run Running of the slaves: 100% Completion Guide

Here is a 100% guide on how to get all achievements and some general tips for you to play Gachi run: Running of the slaves.

Introduction

There are a total of 8 achievements in this game. 5 of those are character related achievements, which are quite easy to get. Plus 3 another miscellaneous achievements that are gameplay related. Without further ado let’s get started!

Achievements

  • Achievement: ♂Sweet pain♂
Description: lose for the first time

You should have no trouble getting this one, just fail the game once and you’ll get it.
  • Achievement: Boss of the Gym
Description: Unlock Boss of the Gym

Character related achievement, should come in natural if you are aiming for the 1000 bucks achievement.
  • Achievement: Kazuya
    Description: Unlock Kazuya

Character related achievement, should come in natural if you are aiming for the 1000 bucks achievement.
  • Achievement: Sweet bunny
    Description: Unlock Bunny

Character related achievement, should come in natural if you are aiming for the 1000 bucks achievement.
  • Achievement: mr Flex
    Description: Unlock mr Flex

Character related achievement, should come in natural if you are aiming for the 1000 bucks achievement.
  • Achievement: ♂Deep dark fantasies♂
    Description: Unlock Dungeon Master

IMPORTANT! Don’t not unlock this character in advance if you are heading for the 1000 bucks achievement. The game won’t count the money that you’ve spent. If you do so, you will need to grind a total of 1300 bucks for the 1000 bucks achievement. Which is a big waste of time, don’t you think?
  • Achievement: 1000 bucks
    Description: ♂Lord of Gachi♂

As I previously mentioned, this is probably the last or second to last achievement that you are looking for. At this point, the circle point thingy isn’t your main focus anymore, just head for the bucks and wish for luck!
  • Achievement: Boy next door♂
    Description: Record 100,000

Earn 100,000 points before failing. Like the previous achievement, this is another tedious achievement that no one likes. If you are one of the handicapped person like me, you may have to try millions of times and never even get this. But I will share some of my tips below to help ease up the process.

General Tips

  • Stick to the lower ground
Stay off the high ground if you ain’t Obi-Wan. The high ground isn’t the safest place for everyone to stay. 9 out of 10 times I was killed by the weird path up on the cloud. Besides, it is hard to predict and time where are you going to land when you jump off the cloud. It is recommend to avoid the cloud path for all the time.
  • Say no to jumping pad
Because this game has a pretty bad path generator. Sometimes it just sends you to a dead trap. I don’t remember how many times I was killed by the jumping pad. So my advice is not to use it unless you have to. And you can press the down button at any time to force your character to return to the ground.
  • No need to collect magnets
At the end of the game, you will be swimming in the pool of circle points and couldn’t figure out what to do with them. So you don’t really need the magnets that much. You may even want to avoid them in the end game because sometimes the magnets effect of sucking the money will blur your visual for a split second, but even is that tiny moment is more than even to ruin your game. So my rule of thumb is, don’t get it.
  • 2x buff only affect on score
This may be trivial but I think is worth mentioning. Both circle points and bucks collected will not be affected by the 2x buff. Its only function is for boosting the score that appear on the bottom left of your screen. It is worth getting it if you are aiming for the Boy next door♂ achievement as it shorten the amount of time for you to complete. However, if the buff is spawn in an unfriendly location, don’t risk it!
