Just King: Achievement Guide 100%

A brief guide on how to 100% the challenges in Just King.

 

Progression Achievements

Rough Start


Be defeated by nana on node 1.

Learning…


Win your first node combat.

Elite Warrior


Win an Elite combat.

Deja vu


Win a combat without taking damage.

Upgrades!


Upgrade one hero to lvl3.
Drag and combine the same hero from the shop, same class, or use class tokens to upgrade.

Achoo!


Defeat the creature that oppresses Trumwood.
Beat the boss in zone 1.

Sub zero


Defeat the creature in the Mountain’s Castle.
Beat the boss in zone 2.

Observed


Defeat the creature that stole the Throne of the Deep.
Beat the boss in zone 3.

Class Achievements

These are achievements that require you to beat one of the bosses using only heroes of a specific class. Shady Business and Heavenly class heroes have the benefit of a healer, and having 2+ Strategist class heroes spawns capture points that can provide healing. Otherwise, you’ll have to utilize the Diopside Ring for healing, or kill the boss quickly.

All Mighty Heroes!


Defeat a boss using only Protagonist heroes.
Protagonist heroes consist of Hoplite and Ranger.

Freezing Stare


Defeat a boss using only Cold heroes.
Cold heroes consist of Frost Witch and Viking.

Gang of Scoundrels


Defeat a boss using only Shady Business heroes.
Shady Business heroes consist of Bard and Rogue.

Good Troublemaker


Defeat a boss using only Frenzy heroes.
Frenzy heroes consist of Knight and Berserker.

Heaven’s Fury


Defeat a boss using only Heavenly heroes.
Heavenly heroes consist of Paladin and Cleric.

Primal Instinct


Defeat a boss using only Deep heroes.
Deep heroes consist of Deep Cultist and Sharkmancer.

Want to Make a Deal?


Defeat a boss using only Hot Hands heroes.
Hot Hand heroes consist of Imp and Archer.

War Experience


Defeat a boss using only Strategist heroes.
Strategist heroes consist of Wizard and Captain.

Team Composition Achievements

These are achievements that require certain team compositions or goals to be met in combat.

The Forgotten Army I


Defeat the boss with at least 2 Captains at lv 3 each.

The Frost Witch


Defeat a boss using at least two lv3 Frost Witches.

The Viking


Defeat a boss using at least two lv3 Vikings.

The Sharkmancer


Defeat a boss using at least two lv3 Sharkmancers.

The Deep Cultist


Defeat a boss using at least two lv3 Deep Cultists.

Only Cleric Run


Defeat the boss only buying Clerics and items.
Buying heroes other than clerics will void the run. I went for a team comp with 2 clerics with healing/haste items and the king with damage/armor items. Wrath Crown (from Tyrant Ruler achievement) can help with this.

The Toy Maker


Get a MvP with Cleric lvl3.
Allow your lvl 3 cleric to do most of the damage in a fight.

Karghlas’ Rampage


Cause 666+ damage in a single hit.
Imp is a good hero to use for this alongside damage and haste items. The team composition I used was 2 Imps and 2 Clerics on the zone 3 boss.

Tyrant Ruler


Show off your power!

Kill 200 enemies with the king.

Shop Achievements

These are achievements that require you to take action in the shop or purchase combinations of items. Since they don’t require you to win, if you’re missing anything then you can sell all unnecessary items and heroes right before the boss and try rolling.

Who is a Good Boy?


Pat the pettable ones.
Right click a Berserker, Ranger, or Sharkmancer in the shop.

Electrified Bodywork


Reach 200% Damage and 4 Armor only with items on a hero.
Items that grant buffs to the whole party work for this achievement. You should equip high percentage items on one hero, and party buff items on any other hero. The following items can be used as a guideline but any combination can work as long as it reaches the minimum amount.
For Damage:
Heaven’s Fervor (150% damage)
Locket Blade (75% damage)
Forgotten Banner (25% party damage)
For Armor:
Granite Plate (5 armor)
Well Crafted Helm (3 armor) + Chaplain’s Pauldron (1 party armor)

Overhealing


Reach 200% Haste and 300% Heal only with items on a hero.
Items that grant buffs to the whole party work for this achievement. You should equip high percentage items on one hero, and party buff items on any other hero. The following items can be used as a guideline but any combination can work as long as it reaches the minimum amount.
For Haste:
Twin Lightning (150% haste)
Golden Harpies’ Banner (25% party haste)
For Heal:
Heart of Ent (250% heal)
Emerald Light Crest (150% heal)

The Forgotten Army II


Equip an Captain lv3 with Forgotten Banner, Chaplain’s Pauldron and Shattered Saber.
Note that Shattered Saber won’t show up in your shop until you complete the Forgotten Army I achievement.

Inception


You gonna need a lvl3 Cleric.
Equip a pocket cleric on a lvl3 cleric.

The Truth


Feed it.

Feed 300 heroes to the maw.

Interaction Achievements

These are achievements that require you to enter the non combat interactions (the question marks) with a certain hero or hero of a specific class, then pick a specific choice.

Bad Encore


Running is sometimes a good option!
Interaction: The Bard
Requirement: At least 1 Paladin
Choice: Cause a ruckus trying to release The Bard

Gran Finale


Give Enzo tools to free himself.
Interaction: The Bard
Requirement: At least 1 Cleric
Choice: “Stealthily” throw the lute into the bard’s hand

Incandescent Magic Stick


It’s on fire!
Interaction: The Bard
Requirement: At least 1 Hot Hands class hero
Choice: Start fire with sticks to disperse the crowd!

Apologies


Try to protect everyone without much success.
Interaction: The Ipdrasil Seed
Requirement: At least 1 Heavenly class hero
Choice: Instinctively shout to everyone to get away!

Magic Kit for Newbies


Now you see it, now you don’t!
