PowerWash Simulator: 100% Achievements Guide (Version 1.0)

A guide that will go through every achievement in PowerWash Simulator and explain how you get them.

Clean Introduction

With the full release of the game, achievements were added with most of them providing a challenge to work on while doing certain jobs. Currently, you can’t earn most achievements in co-op if you’re not the host. If you don’t complete the achievement in Career Mode, you can launch the job in Freeplay. For achievements that require you complete something first, you don’t need to finish the job once you do so.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Achievements are grouped in relation to its simplicity and time required to achieve it. Each section will be organized into the following:

  • Simple Work
  • Minimal Effort
  • Requires Persistence

Achievements that require some amount of power.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Powerful Pressure Purist
────────────────
“Completely clean the Van using only the red nozzle”

Make sure you switch to the 0 degree nozzle before you start cleaning, and never switch off. It’ll take some time but overall isn’t that difficult.

The job is called ‘Clean the Back Garden’. The 12 stones are all along the path from the fence gate to the patio.
────────────────────────────────────────────────

The bowl is to the left of the entrance to the skatepark. Use your most powerful power washer and the 0 degree nozzle for the best result.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Pave the Way
────────────────
“In the Detached House, complete the Pathway, Driveway and Driveway Edges first”

Ignore the house until the whole front is clean. Don’t forget to do both edges of the driveway.

The Penny Farthing is the bicycle with one large wheel and one small one. Simply stand on the seat for 10 seconds.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
I Can See Clearly Now
────────────────
“Complete the Fire Truck windows, windscreen, and wing mirrors first”

There are 6 windows and each item is on the front half of the fire truck. Use smaller degree nozzles to avoid cleaning too much of the surroundings.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Lantern Hunter
────────────────
“In the Treehouse, complete all of the lanterns first”

There are 12 total lanterns. 2 on the front steps when you first load in, 1 on the tree on the middle deck, 8 around the house, and 1 at the bottom of the spiral stairs.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Live by the Blade
────────────────
“Complete the Fire Helicopter blades first”

There are 6 rotor blades as well as 4 tail rotor blades that need to be cleaned.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Head First
────────────────
“Complete the Drill head and tip first”

Be careful to not complete the front gripper directly behind the drill head.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Coconut Dodge
────────────────
“At the Fairground, knock over all of the coconuts”

Can be done on any of the jobs at the fairground, such as the carousel. The coconuts are in a booth by the Space Race booth. Use the 0 degree nozzle and blast all 5 coconuts.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
All Hands on Deck
────────────────
“Complete the Fishing Boat decks and steps first”

You need to complete the wooden first floor of the boat which includes the main deck, steps, and bow. The bridge deck and roof deck don’t count.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Bucket List

────────────────
“Complete the Monster Truck tyres first”

Be careful of the wheels the tyres are attached too.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Suspicious Modifications
────────────────
“Complete the Private Jet laser and anti-gravity parts first”

The anti-gravity parts are the panel and booster on either wing of the jet.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Shine Bright
────────────────
“On the Helter Skelter, complete the objects that have lightbulbs before anything else”

The objects with lightbulbs are the sign (not the signpost), 16 channel lights, and the top ring frame.

Requires Persistence

Achievements that require completing a full job or some patience.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
StegoScore
────────────────
“In the Playground, roll the football up the stegoslide”

This can be tricky to accomplish, but it’s easier if you have a more powerful power washer. Use the 0 degree nozzle and also aim for the top half of the football. You can use the stepladder to help align the football with the slide.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Gutted
────────────────
“Complete the Bungalow gutters last”

Due to the 2 sides of the gutters, you have some leeway when cleaning the roof or the walls.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Sole Task
────────────────
“Complete the sole of the Shoe House last”

The sole is a large part so there shouldn’t be any accidental completion of it before every other part of the house.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Delicate Excavation
────────────────
“Completely clean the Ancient Monument using only the white nozzle”

Equip the 40 degree nozzle and never switch nozzles after. You can use extensions to help extend your length.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Tall Order
────────────────
“Completely clean the Fire Station job without standing on the scaffolding”

You can use the ladder and stepladder. Also, extensions will be your friend, especially for the tower. Since you can’t use the ladder on the tower, you may have to continuously fall down it for the higher portions.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Good Dings to Come
────────────────
“Clean 95% of any job without completing any tasks”

This will be a slow process. I completed it on the Van job. A good reference point for the tasks is to bring the completion bar to around the bottle that’s next to the material. If you get every task to this point, then slowly work down larger parts so that you have more leeway.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Gnome Sweet Gnome
────────────────
“In the Temple, ensure the gnome is on the tower roof once the job is complete”

The gnome already spawns on the tower roof, so you need to move it around to clean the parts it’s on. If it falls off you will be able to use the ladder and scaffolding to bring it back up. The gnome can be on its side, as long as it’s on top. Start with the tower roof first to make sure you restart early on if you need to.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Merrily Go Round
────────────────
“Completely clean the Carousel without turning it off”

The carousel starts on, so just avoid interacting with the button. When cleaning the moving parts, you can stand on one spot and clean without moving, before moving in to finish up.
────────────────────────────────────────────────
Delaying the Inevitable
────────────────
“In the Washroom, complete the toilets last”

I made sure to leave the toilets, lids, and seats themselves last, so that they appear on the final checklist. I cleaned the lids and seats first leaving the toilets themselves for the absolute last thing cleaned.
