This maps every rare collectible you can’t get from regular supply looting. Wondering why some containers won’t open? Or why those sparkling deposits yield nothing with bare hands? The answers are here. Each entry covers spawn conditions, required tools, and real economic value — stop wasting cannon shells on empty crates and start stacking crowns.
List Overview

These rare items need specific conditions, locations, or opening methods. They’re not your standard loot from crates or kills. The full list: Official’s Safe, Locked Box, Sand Treasure, Radio Beacon, Black Box, and Aurogen Crystal. Each demands a different approach — explosives, a shovel, or broadcasting your location to the whole map.
Main List
Official’s portable safe
Found inside sunken ships or towns behind transparent red doors. You can’t open these manually — use cannons (80mm or 40mm), fuel drums, or time bombs. Once the door’s gone, the safe is a small metallic box in plain sight. High-probability loot: figs, large food cans, locked boxes, and wine bottles. For efficient farming, hit sunken ships with red doors or hidden ones in rocky areas to avoid combat. Consistent value, no PvP risk.
Aurogen crystals
Spawn in coral reefs as large, sparkling crystals visible from a distance. Blow them up with cannons (80mm or 40mm) for exactly one crystal per deposit. Each sells for 500 crowns at any vendor. With a Trumper at 65 mobility, you can grab 5-6 in a 15-minute run. Coral formations give natural cover from ambushes — one of the safest early-game money loops.
Locked box and key
Locked boxes are scattered across the map, but you need the matching key. Three types: Military, Valuables, and Utility. Military boxes drop weapon parts, valuables give jewelry and coins, utility holds tools and components. Keys spawn on tables and surfaces in towns — check office-like rooms, reception desks, and military huts. They’re small and easy to overlook; scan every flat surface.
Sand deposits
Found near sunken ships and in towns where sand piles sparkle. You need a shovel to dig. Shovels are stuck in sandboxes in towns and near military huts — look for the wooden handle poking out. Like keys, they’re easy to miss. Once equipped, dig at the sparkling pile for loot from coins to rare components. The shovel holds up until it breaks, so carry it between deposits.
Wireless beacon
Placed in towns and military bases, disguised as a locked box. Often on rooftops or top of base structures. Picking it up triggers a broadcast: your location appears on every player’s map. Double-edged sword. Escape successfully and it sells for 2000 crowns. Leave it if you’re deep in enemy territory or low on fuel. Use it only with a clear escape route.
Black Box
Drops when a Trumper’s engine is destroyed and the vehicle wrecks. The box appears from the broken engine, often hidden in debris. You can pick it up even after your own Trumper is destroyed. The tech tree needs lots of these for upgrades that accelerate PvP progression. Selling one gives only 500 crowns — inefficient for money. Prioritize collecting for crafting over selling.
