How to Enable Console

Open the console with the “~” key, then enter the necessary commands. More details are in the file above.

 

Common Cheat Codes

  • alloys (amount) – Adds (amount) of alloys, default 5000
  • branchoffice – Become the owner of a planetary branch office
  • cash (amount) – Adds (amount) of energy credits, default 5000
  • colonize (colonizer pop id) – Starts the process of colonizing the selected planet, using a copy of pop with the specified id
  • damage (amount) – All ships of the selected fleet receive hull damage (amount)
  • instant_build – Toggles instant completion of construction and upgrades WARNING: This also applies to enemy AI, so only used during pause
  • intel – Gives an overview of the entire galaxy and disables the first contact while it is active
  • influence (amount) – Adds (amount) of influence, default 5000
  • invincible – Player ships will not take damage
  • kill_pop (pop id) – Kills (pop id) pop
  • max_resources – Fills all resource stores
  • minerals (amount) – Adds (amount) of minerals, default 5000

  • debugtooltip – Shows the target ID when hovering over it with the mouse cursor
  • activate_all_traditions – Activates all traditions
  • activate_ascension_perk (name) – Activates the specified Ascension perk, pressing tab opens names
  • activate_tradition (tradition id) – Activates the specified tradition, pressing the tab key opens the names
  • add_opinion (source) (target) (amount) – Increases the (source) empire’s opinion of the (target) empire by (amount), default 40
  • add_pops (species ID) (amount) – Creates the specified (amount) of POPs from the specified species on the selected planet
  • add_ship (design id) – Adds the specified ship (design id), pressing tab opens NPCmes ship names
  • add_spynetwork_value (target) (amount) – Adds the specified amount of infiltration progress to the specified target
  • add_trait_leader (leader id) (trait id) – Adds (trait id) to (leader id), entering only the leader id shows all trait ids for that class
  • add_trait_species (species id) (trait id) – Adds (trait id) to (species id)
  • ai – Turns artificial intelligence on or off

  • create_megastructure (megastructure id) – Creates a megastructure on the current system, pressing tab opens the ids
  • create_navy (amount) – Creates a fleet using your most recent designs that use [amount of] naval capacity, 1 means 100%
  • damage (amount) – All ships of the selected fleet receive hull damage (amount)
  • debug_nomen – AI empires always refuse offers from players
  • debug_yesmen – AI empires always agree to player suggestions
  • effect add_building = (building id) – Adds (building id) to the selected planet, unique buildings of several planets will be removed a month after adding
  • effect add_deposit = (deposit id) – Adds (deposit id) a resource deposit or planetary object to the selected celestial body
  • effect remove_deposit = (deposit id) – Removes (deposit id) a resource deposit or planetary object from the selected celestial body
  • effect add_district = (district id) – Adds (district id) to the planet
  • effect add_planet_devastation = (amount) – Adds (amount of) destruction to the selected create_archaeological_site, negative values decrease it
  • effect country_add_ethic = (ethic id) – Adds (ethic id) to the players’ empire, using more than 3 ethical points will remove low attractiveness ethics
  • effect country_remove_ethic = (ethic id) – Removes (ethical id) from the player empire
  • effect create_archaeological_site = (archaeological site id) – Adds (archaeological site id) to the selected create_archaeological_site
  • effect set_origin = (origin id) – Changes the origin of the players’ empire to (origin id)
  • effect shift_ethic = (ethic id) – Changes the ethics of the players’ empire to (ethic id)
  • event (event id) – Triggers (event id)
  • federation_add_experience (amount) – Adds (amount) of Federation experience, default 1000
  • federation_add_cohesion (amount) – Adds (amount) of Federation cohesion, default 200
  • federation_add_cohesion_speed (amount) – Adds (amount of) monthly cohesion to the Federation, default 10
  • federation_examine_leader – Starts the federation inheritance process
  • finish_research – Finishes all active research
  • finish_special_projects – Finishes all special projects
  • finish_terraform – Finishes all terraforming processes
  • food (amount) – Adds (amount) of food, default 5000
  • force_integrate (country_id) – Integrates the empire (country_id) into the player’s empire
  • free_government – Switches that allow the player to change governments without a time limit
  • free_policies – Toggles allowing the player to change policies without restrictions, including previously disabled policies
  • grow_pops (amount) – Adds (amount) of growing POPs to the selected planet, default 1
  • instant_build – Toggles instant completion of construction and upgrades WARNING: This also applies to enemy AI, so only used during pause

  • planet_happiness (amount) – Adds a modifier with (amount) Happiness for the selected planet, default 100
  • planet_size (size) – Changes the (size) of the selected planet, can exceed normal sizes, but if exceeded 78 the planet will be moved back
  • play (empire ID) – Switches player control to empire (empire ID)
  • remove_trait_leader (leader id) (trait id) – Removes (trait id) from (leader id)
  • remove_trait_species (species id) (trait id) – Removes (trait id) from (species id)
  • research_all_technologies (Boolean) – Instantly researches all unique technologies. Add 1 also for cosmic beings and crisis specialists. Add a second number for repeatable technologies.
  • research_technology (technology id) – Instant research (technology id)
  • skills (amount) – Adds (amount) skill levels to each leader under player control, default 1
  • skip_galactic_community_cooldowns – Disables cooldown when suggesting solutions from the same group
  • society (amount) – Adds (amount) of Society tech points, default 5000
  • survey – Surveys all planets, requires at least one science ship
  • techupdate – Updates current available technology options
  • unity (amount) – Adds (amount of) units, default 500
  • unlock_edicts – Unlocks all decrees
