A complete guide of all traits and ancillaries!
Introduction
First you will need to enable the RomeShell! Although it should be on by default!
To enable the RomeShell simply follow these instructions!
1. Open “Total War: ROME REMASTERED Options”
2. Press the cogwheel
3. Check the box labeled “Enable console (RomeShell)!
And that’s it!
Now to open the console in-game you will want to press the ” § ” button which is located under esc and next to “1”, however, If it doesn’t open please head over to settings and follow these steps!
1. Click on “Control Settings”
2. Use the arrows on top of the newly displayed window to head over to “Miscellaneous”
3. Scroll down to the bottom and you should see a keybind to open the RomeShell.
4. Rebind it to any button you want.
Now when you have the console open all you need to d o is this to give characters traits and ancillaries!
For traits: give_trait {character_name} {trait name} {level of trait}
For ancillaries: give_ancillary {character_name} {ancillary name}
Note, If your character has a first and last name then you want to write it as “FirstName LastName” and not as {FirstName LastName}
Example: give_trait “Julius Caesar” GoodAttacker 3 < is the correct way!
Example of the wrong way: give_trait Julius Caesar GoodAttacker 3
General and Family Traits
At Level 3 you gain -1 to influence, Command and Management.
At Level 4 you gain -1 to Influence and -2 to command and Management.
At Level 5 you gain -2 to influence and – 3 to command and Management.
At level 6 you gain -4 to Influence and -5 in command and management.
At Level 3 you gain -1 to Influence
At Level 4 you have the same effects as level 2
At Level 5 you gain -2 to Influence and TroopMorale
At Level 2 and up you also gain +1 to law per level
At Level 3 you gain +1 to Command
At Level 2 you gain +3 TroopMorale.
At Level 3 you gain +2 TroopMorale
At level 3 you gain -1 to command
+1 to MovementPoints per level starting at +2.
+5 to Construction per level.
+1 to Attack per level
