20 Minutes Till Dawn: All Characters, Items and Synergies (V0.6.1)

Overview and illustrations for version v0.6.1 – EA.
Description of items, tomes, builds and tips for game.
Update in progress for the current version.

 

1. Characters

Items and the ascension quest can be obtained from the chest killing the first and third bosses.

Lasting Flame – Burn lasts twice as long..
Pyromaniac – Scarlett gain +10% Fire Rate every time she inflicts Burn. This buff resets on reload.
Pyro Affinity – Bullet Damage -25% and Burn Damage +67%.
Hina

Right click to summon a Shadow Clone that attacks nearby enemies. Shadow Clone deals damage equal to your Bullet Damage.
Hidden Blade – Hina is now Invincible during her dash. Hina’s dash deals damage equal to her Bullet Damage to enemies in the way.
Enhanced Shadow – Summon Damage +25%. Shadow Clone attacks 3 times faster.
Maneuver – Hina automatically reloads her gun after using her dash.
Spark

Your bullets have a 50% chance call dawn lightning on impact for 5 damage.
Electro Affinity – bullet damage -25% and lightning damage +50%.
Charged Up – every 3rd Lightning attack deals double damage, and generates 1 ammo.
Electrical Fire – lightning strikes also inflicts Burn for 3 damage per secon..
Lilith

When enemies are killed, summon a spirit. Spirits chase down near by enemies and deal 8 damage.
Undead Army – summon damage and attack speed +35%.
Necrophile – gain +35% Move Speed for 1 second when an enemy is killed.
Necromancer – summon damage +20%. Lilith summons an additional Spirit when enemies are killed.
Abby

Right click to quickly shoot all of your remaining ammo in random directions.
Make It Raindouble how fast Abby fires during her special skill.
Whirlwind – increase move speed and reload rate by 35% for 2 seconds after reloading.

3. Upgrade

#weapon tier. When you level up, you can only choose 1st tier upgrade. After that, you will have access to the 2nd tier and after you select the second – to the third/ultimate.

5. Darkness

The levels in the game are divided into:

  • Darkness 0 – the initial level, after passing it you can unlock the following difficulty levels:
  • Darkness 1 – small enemies spawn more often;
  • Darkness 2 – small enemies have more HP;
  • Darkness 3 – elites have more HP;
  • Darkness 4 – bosses have more HP;
  • Darkness 5 – elites deal double damage;
  • Darkness 6 – bosses deal double damage;
  • Darkness 7 – small enemies move faster;
  • Darkness 8 – elites move faster;
  • Darkness 9 – reduce upgrade choices by 1;
  • Darkness 10 – small enemies deal double damage in the last 5 minutes;
  • Darkness 11 – less experience gained;
  • Darkness 12 – small enemies have even more health;
  • Darkness 13 – elites have even more health;
  • Darkness 14 – bosses have even more health;
  • Darkness 15 – bosses attack much more often;

6. Ascension

To receive ascension you must:

  • kill the first boss;
  • loot chest;
  • you should get the ascension quest;
  • now you can choose one of 3 ascension parts as you level up;
  • after you collect all 3, you will get the ascension.

7. Tomes

Tomes drop from bosses starting from the second . They are two-way buffs, they significantly increase some aspects, but weaken others.

8. Character Builds

Builds that I myself have personally tested, with my subjective assessment of their playability and fun.

8.1 Spark + Dual SMGs

Dual SMGs is best for shooting effects, such as lightning that cast on every second shot and fireball, which appears every fourth shot.

Thanks to the large magazine and passives of Spark, we will have infinitely replenished ammo and constant lightning and fire.

Take the upgrade tree for reload rate and all upgrades from the Summon treeDO NOT NEED.

Choose Priority Upgrades:

  1. UPGRADES YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TAKE. You must choose upgrades to increase damage and replenish ammo.

    Increases Ignite Damage by 35%.
    Frost FIre
    Freezing an enemy also inflicts Ignite, dealing 6 damage per second. Additional damage.

     

  2. Getting ready for the bosses and the late game.

    Automatically kills enemies below 20% Health. Huge damage. In the tree, you can take all previous upgrades for bullet speed.

    Doubles the number of projectiles. Before that, take Split Fire.
    Splinter
    On death, the enemy explodes releasing 3 projectiles that deal 10% damage. Increasing the spread of ignite. Before that, take Power Shot.

     

  3. Additional improvements (optional at will).

    We increase the pickup range for experience. In the tree, you can take all previous upgrades.
    Giant
    Together with Vitality you will get +3 Max HP.

    Increase damage and movement speed. In the tree, you can take all previous upgrades.

Items. Our priority is Charged Up and Electro Affinity. The first boosts us lightning damage and receiving bullets, and the second increases lightning damage by +50%. Electrical Fire feel free to skip.

Tomes. Tome of Elements increases by third our elemental effects, and Tome of Rage increases the rate of fire on 66% and triples the max ammo. Of course, in this case, your bullet damage will be equal to 0. If you don’t want to lose in bullet damage, then take a bunch of Tome of Power and Tome of Elasticity. But in return you will get max HP -2.
