The ‘Big Help’ achievement is one of those co-op unlocks that sounds simple on paper but leaves you wandering the map wondering if you’re even looking at the right item. The Belt — a circular, waist-attached bag that holds your radios and walkie-talkies — sits in a specific corner of the map, and the achievement only pops when a second player attaches it to you. This guide walks the entire route from spawn to unlock, with visual cues for identifying the Belt versus the backpacks, plus what to do when the door won’t budge.
Goal / Problem
‘Big Help’ requires wearing something on your hip. That means the Belt, not the backpack. The catch: you cannot equip it solo. A second player must physically attach the belt to you, which triggers the achievement. The Belt itself is mostly cosmetic — it attaches radios and walkie-talkies to your character — so don’t expect a gameplay buff. It’s a collectible with a social requirement.

Steps
- Spawn in the starting area and head left. You’re circling the map’s outer edge, so keep the terrain on your right.
- Follow the path until you reach a door. If you’ve already explored the full map, it will be open. If not, you’ll need to clear the map first to unlock it — see the troubleshooting section below.

- Pass through the door into the zone players refer to as “that apple.” The name comes from the map’s shape in that region; you’ll know it when you see it.

- Look for the Belt item. It’s a circular, rounded bag designed to sit on the waist. This is the key visual distinction: backpacks are thinner and more rectangular, while waist bags appear larger and rounder.
- If you’re unsure, open the map room. The overhead view makes the difference obvious — waist bags read as big circles, backpacks as slim rectangles. This is the fastest way to confirm you’re grabbing the right item.

- Have another player attach the belt to you. That action grants the Belt and unlocks ‘Big Help’ instantly.
Tip: The Belt spawns near the yellow lighthouse — one of the lighthouses required to unlock the underground area. The black tower nearby is the one that finishes the game, so don’t confuse the two while exploring.
Tips & Troubleshooting
| Problem | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Door is locked | Map not fully explored | Clear the entire map first, then return — the door opens automatically |
| Can’t equip the Belt | Solo player | ‘Big Help’ is strictly co-op; invite a friend to attach it |
| Can’t tell Belt from backpack | Similar silhouette at a glance | Use the map room — belts are circular, backpacks are rectangular |
- Multiple Belt items are scattered around the map, just like backpacks. If the first one is inconvenient, keep exploring — you’ll find another.
- The Belt attaches radios and walkie-talkies once worn. It’s a nice detail, but it doesn’t change gameplay mechanics.
- The yellow lighthouse is your best landmark for the Belt’s general area. If you’re near it, you’re in the right region.
Warning: Don’t waste time trying to self-equip. The game won’t let you attach the Belt to your own character, and the achievement won’t trigger. You need the second player, period.
