She Will Punish Them: How Healing Works & Perks Affect

A guide to how healing works in the game and how perks affect it

Why download it?
At high difficulties, every enemy hit can be fatal. To reduce the risk, many increase their health points. But they notice that the healing potion becomes less effective, and at the initial stage of the game, potions have to be spent heavily. Which of the skills affecting healing and in what situations should you level up to increase healing and reduce costs?

The main
At the moment, there are 3 skills in the game that affect healing. However, the main thing that the player should know is that the healing rate from any source is always fixed . This means that you will not be able to increase the speed of HP recovery in any way , whether it is healing from magic or from potions (the only exception is the Rebirth skill ). From which we can conclude that it makes no sense to invest heavily in health points in this patch, so the more health, the longer it will be restored to the maximum. For the insane difficulty level, I chose the optimal value for myself at 500hp. Next, let’s look at the pros and cons of each skill that affects healing.

Healing aura
An excellent skill that helps in the early stages of the game.
Pros:
1. Savings. Mana potions are cheaper than heals, but mana itself is gradually restored. Oftentimes, melee characters have nowhere to spend it, so the perk is ideal for a small heal. In this case, it is not recommended to pump it above +2, since each skill point is very important.
2. The skill is influenced by Strength , so it is especially useful for magic-oriented characters. Good healing even without pumping to the maximum

Minuses:
1. It loses its relevance over time when healing potions become abundant
3. Restores less health at the first level than a healing potion
2. The most significant disadvantage is animation, and you take risks when you use the skill next to enemies

Alchemy
The most useless skill for healing in the game, since at +5 it restores about the same amount of hp as the healing aura restores at +5, but it spends potions, not mana.

However, it has one significant plus :
When pumping it, it also increases the recovery of mana from a mana potion , which is not directly mentioned. But, unlike health points, mana is always restored instantly, and with a high Strength, the amount of its recovery should be large.

As such, it is a very strong skill when creating a purely magical build that will allow casts to be made almost non-stop. Pairs well with healing aura

Rebirth
Without further ado, it is the strongest healing skill and one of the best skills in general
. 1. Its main advantage is that when pumped to +5, it recovers HP almost at the same rate as other sources restore it, the difference is minimal. Therefore, you may not be using any healing potions at all. This also applies to companions
2. Savings. When leveling up to 1-2, it helps a lot at the beginning of the game. Often the potion does not fully restore HP, and spending another one can be risky. These are constant inconvenient situations that this skill copes well with
3. Passive heal in the castle after the battle

In general, despite all its advantages, the skill is not a “must have” for most assemblies. At the middle and more stages of the game, there should be no problems with gold, as well as a lack of potions. It would be wise to pump it to + 1-2, then use healing potions.
Also, a minus can be called the fact that if you want to completely abandon potions and healing magic, pumping up to +5 is required.
Actual for “tank”, physical assemblies, the best choice for companions in any case.
For a character with a high strength indicator , it is better to use the healing aura , and spend the remaining points on the alchemy skill
