Have you ever worked to complete the community center and found yourself thinking “Damn! I forgot eels were available during spring, now I have to wait until a rainy day in fall to catch one. I hope I remember when the time comes.” If so, this is the guide for you! If you’re in a rush to complete the community center within the first year, I’ve got your back. This guide contains all the items needed that are specific to the season. Meaning most of the boiler room and the bulletin board are *not* included, as those items are (again, mostly) not bound to any season. If any item is on a time crunch, you’ll find it here. If you’re looking for a complete guide on the community center, I’ll link it here. I primarily made this guide for myself, since the items holding me back from completion tend to be exclusive to one season lol.
Spring Crops (The Pantry)
Parsnips: 5 gold quality parsnips
- I recommend you use basic fertilizer, you can use it after reaching farming level 1 and it is easy to craft (just 2 sap). Use generously and plant LOTS of parsnips. Parsnips are ready in 4 days, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to obtain.
only one of each of the following crops is needed:
- Parsnip (4 day growth period)
- Green bean (10 days until first harvest)
- Cauliflower (12 day growth period)
- Potato (6 day growth period)
The artisan bundle requires 6 items with a choice of 12 items to submit. There are 6 fruit options from fruit trees, which take a full season (28 days) to mature. Spring fruit trees (apricot and cherry) will not have enough time to mature by the end of the season. Fruit can also be found in the farm cave if you choose the fruit bats. However, if you choose the mushroom cave, here’s what I recommend:
- Orange and Peach trees: plant during the last week of spring at the latest. Orange trees cost 4,000g. Peach trees cost 6,000g. Trees can be expensive in the beginning, so your summer fruit tree harvests may be limited, as your trees will mature throughout most of summer.
Apple and Pomegranate trees: plant on the first of summer. Apple trees cost 4,000g. Pomegranate trees cost 6,000g. Aside from the artisan bundle, 3 apples are needed for the fodder bundle, and one pomegranate is needed for the enchanter’s bundle.
Summer Crops
Melons: 5 gold quality melons
- Melons take 12 days to grow, so the last day you can plant melons is on the 16th. If you want to ensure success in getting the 5 gold quality melons, you can plant a fertilized patch every day up to the 16th.
only one of each of the following crops is needed:
- Tomato (11 days until first harvest)
- Hot pepper (5 days until first harvest)
- Blueberry (13 days until first harvest)
- Melon (12 day growth period)
- Corn (14 days until first harvest)
10 pieces of wheat and 10 pieces of hay are required to complete this bundle. When harvesting wheat with your scythe there is a 40% chance of producing hay, so keep this in mind when planting. Wheat is available for purchase in the summer and fall.
Fall Crops
Pumpkins: 5 gold quality melons
Corn: 5 gold quality corn
- Pumpkins take 13 days to grow, so the last day you can plant melons is on the 15th. If you want to ensure success in getting the 5 gold quality pumpkins, you can plant a fertilized patch every day up to the 15th. If you start a fertilized patch of corn in the summer, you should have enough gold quality corn by the end of fall.
only one of each of the following crops is needed:
- Corn (14 days until first harvest)
- Eggplant (5 days until first harvest)
- Yam(10 day growth period)
- Pumpkin (13 day growth period)
