Hunt Showdown: 100% Achievement Guide

The tips I wrote down here are my own and helped me being a “decent player” according to my playstyle, it may not suit you but if like me you’re new to this game, I think it could help you a bit.

Loadout+Traits as a Middle Range Duo/Trio player

• Main Weapon
  – Winfield M1873 : IMO it’s a good enough weapon for Mid range target picking. With Levering trait you can get multiple shots quickly !
• Secondary Weapon
  – Caldway Pax : strong low-cost revolver, perfect with Fanning
• Tools
  – Knuckle Knife : Use the “Knuckle” part to take out Immolators without them exploding, the knife part allows bleeding damages
  – First Aid kit : Mandatory for survival
  – Choke Bomb : Can be used to put out the fire on a burning mate or to annoy the enemies by having them cough and lose their aim
• Consumables
  – 2 x Vitality Shots : Mandatory for survival
  – Sticky Bomb : I use these for quick boss killing
  – Fire Bomb : You can use it to burn other players bodies (avoid their revival) or to block enemy hunters
• Traits (P1 : High Priority –> P3 : Low Priority)
  – Determination (P1) : Helps stamina recovers faster
  – Greyhound (P1) : You can run for a longer duration
  – Doctor (P1) : Doubles the effect of medkit
  – Levering (P1) : Allows you to shoot your lever rifle really quickly, great stuff in close fight !
  – Necromancer (P1) : Allows you to revive from a distance, your partners will love you !
  – Gator Legs (P2) : You’ll move faster in water, can be a real life saver
  – Resilience (P2) : Get 100 HP when revived
  – Adrenaline (P2) : Regenerate adrenaline when health is low, can save your life in though moments
  – Pitcher (P2) : Great trait to have to save your friends from fire, to throw stuff in houses to push your enemies
  – Physician (P2) : Really nice perk to heal quicker with MedKit
  – Fanning (P2) : Nice trait, allows you to shoot your revolver way faster
  – Iron Repeater (P3): Allows you to stay in sight with your lever rifle
  – Serpent (P3) : Great stuff to have to interact with Clues, Rifts and Bounties from a safe distance. Takes longer but gets the job done (for instance to avoid fighting Meatboys, steal enemy hunters bounties from outside the house etc)
  – Conduit (P3) : Allows you to regen health when interacting with clues, rifts etc
  – Kiteskin (P3) : Reduces falling damage, they occur way more than we want them

Tips

• Immolators can be killed with ease with the Knuckle knife (knuckle part), the Dusters or the stock of your weapons (V by default).
• Don’t run all the time, be careful of your surroundings (crows, horses, dogs, rosters) so you won’t give your position.
• Stop and take cover to hear other players (shots, footsteps, explosions or animals)
• If you hear any animal ONE time, it’s just here to notify you of its presence. If you hear it at least twice in a row, it means there’s someone around.
• If you’re near a horse, you can run toward it and kill it with one charged blow (as long as it “shouts” only one time, no one can know you’re close because it’s supposed to “shout” one time)
• You can walk past crows or ducks as long as you walk or crouch (just don’t run)
• Equipping a Sticky Bomb is a must for fast boss killing, you’ll then be able to finish it quickly with a melee weapon (with charged attacks) you may have found in the game
• Equipping Vitality shots IS MANDATORY for your survival (at least 1)
• If you’re playing solo, I’d suggest trading one vitality shot for a stamina shot in order to reach the extract point ASAP (you’ll be followed by lazy hunters most of the time, that just want to kill you and get the bounty after you’ve done the job ^^)

You’ll get it naturally whether it’s you or one of your team that investigate the clue.

Just get 100 of these contracts home (extract with the bounties). The maximum of bounties you can get by playing solo is one for each boss whereas when you’re playing Duo or Trio is two for each boss.

The description of this achievement is wrong, you can get this achievement whether you’re playing Solo, Duo or Trio as long as you do the killing blow on the boss. Don’t hesitate to ask your partner for you to get the killing blow, some just won’t care.

You’ll get this achievement faster than you would like to… Recruit 100 hunters in the Roster.

Your hunters have to be level 25 at least for you to access the “Retire” option. I’d suggest you to focus on this achievement after completing the Five-Ace Hand (Have 5 level 50 Hunters at the same time) achievement.

You’ll get this achievement the first time you extract with a bounty as Solo, Duo or Trio. Killing the boss isn’t mandatory for this achievement.

You can get this achievement rather quickly by attaching a Sticky Bomb to a boss then finishing it with a melee weapon (from your loadout or one you can find randomly in the map).

Pretty straightforward, have 15 traits on a hunter. If you want to get it quickly, just take the traits with the lowest cost on a hunter (warning : by doing this, you might have a low power hunter, I’d advise you to get it in a casual way with good traits).

The difficulty here is keeping a hunter alive until he reaches level 50. I’d advise you to join the official Hunt: Showdown Discord server to group up with people who have a microphone and good comms. The strategy I used was to have 10 hunter simultaneously and ALWAYS level up the one with the lowest level, then, when you’re in a good team and have won multiple times with them, you can try and play with your highest level hunter in order to reach level 50. It shouldn’t take more than four “good games” (extract with bounties and kill some people) to get a hunter to level 50. If you want to optimize your achievement progress, I’d advise you to choose a Server Region in which it’s early morning (4am -> 8am), you’ll have less players. Duo is strongly advised because Duos can be grouped against Solos or Duo whereas Trios will mostly be against other Trios. Do not retire your level 50 hunters until you get the Five-Ace Hand (Have 5 level 50 Hunters at the same time) achievement.

This achievement pops after you’ll have killed your first enemy Hunter, whether in Quickplay or Bounty Hunt.

For this achievement you’ll need to equip the trait “Tomahawk” then use a sledgehammer you find randomly in the map and throw it towards an enemy hunter. For this, I’d advise you to equip a sledgehammer after killing a boss (and don’t pick up the bounty) and wait for hunters to come in. Throw your sledgehammer in their face (or other parts of their body :p) and it’s a oneshot !

No real way to optimize this, just play and do some headshots. Another way might be to find a boosting buddy and try to connect to low-population servers (Oceania for instance) and meet up to land some headshots. If you can find other partners, you might be able to land some headshots by using revives.

I was able to find this kind of setting next to Seven Sisters Estate, just play them both and you’ll get the achievement. It may not always spawn like this and you may to search some more. You can also do it in quickplay if you don’t want to give your position.

For this achievement, you can use the Dusters, Knuckle Knife (light attack only) and the stock of your current weapon (as long as it’s not sharp).

Just read the requirement for each weapon in Library->Book of Weapons and click on “Unlock”. Do it 50 times and you’ll get the achievement.

Find one of these toilet, get in, close the door and wait for the achievement to pop-up.

For this achievement, I’d advise you to do it in Quickplay so you won’t destroy your Bounty Hunt stats. Just equip a hammer/axe you can find on the map and destroy all dem’ doors !

For this achievement, I’ve brought a Fire Bomb and a Hive Bomb. Find some zombies (grunts) with cleavers and get yourself cut. Throw your Fire Bomb then your PoisonBomb on the ground and savour the moment !

Chicken coops look like what’s in the image on the left. The locations in which I was able to find some of their spawn (their spawnpoint is fixed BUT sometimes they just may not spawn) are in the last three images (some may be missing). You’ll have to shoot the lantern on top of the coop. If you want to optimize your achievement progress, I’d advise you to choose a Server Region in which it’s early morning (4am -> 8am), you’ll have less players. You can do it in quickplay if you don’t want to risk downing your stats. You can track your stats on Completionist.me (legit achievement hunting website).
