Soul Storm events are rare in Minecraft Dungeons II, and they are the only reliable source of gear with 3 perks. If you value your time, you need a farming plan. This guide covers how I identify 3-perk gear, what to equip, and the respawn glitch I use to run the event multiple times inside one time window.
One note before you start: I play on an online character, so the glitch below may not work for offline characters. I will update this once I finish the game offline or if someone tells me otherwise.

How to Spot 3-Perk Equipment
Before you start farming, learn to recognize 3-perk gear so you do not delete it by accident. This is the single biggest mistake I see people make, and it costs them uniques they never knew they had.
In your equipment list, every piece has a soul icon inside its thumbnail. That icon shows a special graphic when the item has 3 perks. Open the item’s stat screen and you will see another soul icon in the top-right corner along with the three perks listed. I have a mod that shows item stats, so that second screen is not usually visible for most players.
On unique gear, one perk slot is taken by the unique’s special perk. Normally only one other perk is free, but gear from Soul Storm chests gets an extra modifiable perk. Special rarity gear (the blue items) instead has 3 modifiable perks.
The only way to get 3-perk equipment is from Soul Storm Generator reward chests. This matters a lot for your farming route: 3-perk gear cannot drop from enemy kills. No enemy spawned by the generator will drop it right now. You have to destroy the generator and open its chest.
The good news is that every chest drop is guaranteed to have 3 perks and is either unique or special rarity. No green or grey loot can drop. That smaller loot pool means rarity-boosting stats should in theory push more uniques your way, and if you plan to reroll stats later, keep the blacksmith reroll effects list handy so you do not waste materials.
The Generator Respawn Glitch
This is the core of the whole method, and it is simple once you have done it once.

- Play a Soul Storm event normally until all three generators are destroyed. A pop-up saying the event is over should appear.
- Quit out to the main menu. Do not exit to desktop.
- Click “Play” once you are loaded into the main menu.
- If you did it right, the game loads back in with the Soul Storm reset to 0 generators destroyed, and you keep all the loot from your completions.
With a very unoptimized build I finished this process in about 5 minutes. That means 4 cycles of the event inside the time limit, giving 16 total chests (1 per generator plus the completion Obsidian chest). Remember, every chest is guaranteed to be special or unique rarity.
What Gear to Wear
The Lucky Clover Talisman increases your chance for extra loot drops, and that bonus applies to the Soul Storm reward chests, so you get extra rolls at unique gear.
The Looter’s Charm will not help here. It only boosts mob drops, and as I said earlier, only chests drop 3-perk gear.
In your armour slot, equip the Oracle Sandals for a higher chance of higher-tier gear. This matters because special (blue) drops are worse than their unique versions. In practice, you can delete anything that is not unique, since uniques will always beat what else you can earn in the game. Artifacts are the exception, as special/blue is their highest rarity.
I have not found other gear that improves drop count or tier, but if other unique armours like the Oracle Sandals exist, equip those too.
Putting It All Together
The whole strategy comes down to killing each generator fast, then using the respawn glitch to repeat the run inside the 20-minute window.
High DPS is everything. Destroying a generator before it spawns its immunity shields saves a lot of time, and less time per generator means more chests overall. On paper I would consider speed-boosting artefacts, but I find artefacts too valuable for my damage output, so those slots are better used there. If you have quick fingers, swapping artefacts could still pay off.
Use as many odds-boosting pieces as you can without wrecking your build. Above all, use the Lucky Clover, since talismans matter less than the actual equipment in a build, and landing a specific unique is the best use of your time.
As mentioned, the glitch let me play the event 4 times inside the 20-minute window for 16 chests total (12 generator chests and 4 completion chests), and I earned between 4 and 8 uniques from that. If you are hunting a specific drop, a secret boss guide can help you round out your build alongside these runs.
One last tip: try to memorize where each generator spawns in each area. Any time lost during the event is more time you wait for another spawn. I will update this guide with the best locations and pathing when I have enough information and pictures. As a starting rule, most generator locations sit next to fast travel points. My current strategy when I have not memorized a spot is to fast travel to each point and run a certain radius around it. More often than not, a generator spawns and you can use the map from there.
Conclusion
Soul Storm farming is mostly about speed, the right gear, and the respawn trick. Get your generators down fast, keep your odds gear on, and use the reset glitch every single run. That is how you turn a rare event into a steady stream of uniques.
