This guide walks you through every step to locate and capture Aegidron, the level 79 boss in Palworld 1.0, from unlocking the World Tree area to using the right spheres and tactics for a successful catch. Aegidron is one of the highest-level bosses in the game, and its spawn point is tucked away in a specific waterfall zone west of the World Tree. Without precise coordinates and a clear path, players often waste hours searching the wrong areas or fail the capture due to insufficient preparation.
Goal / Problem
The primary goal is to find Aegidron and capture it in one attempt. The problem most players face is twofold: first, Aegidron only spawns after you have progressed the main story enough to unlock the World Tree region; second, its exact location is not marked on the map, and the surrounding terrain is dense with high-level wild Pals. Aegidron is a level 79 boss, meaning it hits hard and has a very low capture rate with standard spheres. You need to know where to go, what gear to bring, and how to reset the spawn if it is not present.
Steps
Progress the main story until you unlock the World Tree area. This is a late-game region, so you must complete the required story missions before Aegidron’s spawn point becomes active. Once the area is available, open your map and fast travel to the closest teleport point: Lacrimal Shaw, located at coordinates 1, 19238.

From Lacrimal Shaw, mount a flying Pal with high stamina and speed — Jetragon is the ideal choice, but any fast flyer will work. Head north from the teleport point, keeping the World Tree on your left. You are looking for a waterfall area; Aegidron spawns on a rocky ledge directly beside the waterfall. The exact spawn coordinates are -193, 1336.

Land on the ledge and you should see Aegidron waiting. It is level 79, so equip Ancient Spheres for a significantly higher capture chance compared to standard spheres. Engage the boss with your strongest Pals, lower its health to near zero, then throw your Ancient Sphere.
Tips & Troubleshooting

Before engaging Aegidron, ensure you have a full party of strong Pals at level 70 or higher, preferably with water or electric types that exploit its weaknesses. Bring plenty of healing items and armor with high defense ratings — a single hit from Aegidron can one-shot an underprepared player. Ancient Spheres are the minimum requirement; if you have Legendary Spheres, use those instead for an even better chance. If Aegidron is not at the spawn point when you arrive, do not panic. Fast travel away to any other location, then return to Lacrimal Shaw and fly back to the waterfall. This resets the area and usually forces the boss to respawn. The waterfall area is west of the World Tree, so if you reach the tree itself, you have gone too far east.
