Palworld 1.0: Lapiron, Hoodle & Celesdir Noct Locations and Breeding

Version 1.0 of Palworld dropped three new Pals into the world, but finding them isn’t always straightforward. Lapiron, Hoodle, and Celesdir Noct each require a specific approach—floating island exploration, night-only hunting, or a trip to the World Tree. This guide cuts through the guesswork, giving you exact spawn points, breeding recipes, and capture tactics for all three.

Overview: New Pals in Palworld 1.0

The three new Pals split into two distinct acquisition paths. Lapiron (Pal #165) and Hoodle (Pal #166) are wild spawns exclusive to floating islands. Celesdir Noct offers flexibility: breed it from two Faybreak Island Pals or face it as a boss at the World Tree. Your choice depends on your level and how far you’ve progressed.

Lapiron Location (Pal #165)

Lapiron is a level 65 ground-type Pal. It has exactly one habitat: the floating islands in the southeast corner of the map.

Two spawn points have been confirmed:

  • A floating island directly ahead of the player when approaching from the southeast mainland.
  • A separate floating island further to the southeast.

Lapiron is fragile for its level. You need a fast Pal to chase it down without accidentally killing it. A high-speed mount or a Soul-type Pal works well. Bring a good Sphere; you will only get one or two chances to throw before the Pal is defeated. Reduce its health carefully—a single heavy hit can knock it out.

Hoodle Location (Pal #166)

Hoodle spawns in the Floating Island biome, but only reliably at night. During daytime, its spawn rate plummets to near-zero.

To capture Hoodle, you need two things:

  • A ring (likely a night-vision or capture-boosting accessory).
  • A high-quality Sphere.

Hoodle walks around the island surface, making it easy to spot after dark. The catch window is tight: sunrise triggers the rarity shift. Hunt Hoodle during the night cycle and capture it before dawn. If you fail, wait for the next night.

Celesdir Noct: Breeding Method

If the World Tree is out of reach, breed your own Celesdir Noct.

The recipe:

  • Parent 1: Kitsun Noct (found on Faybreak Island).
  • Parent 2: Celesdir (also found across Faybreak Island).

Breeding these two produces a Celesdir Noct egg. This method is slower than a boss capture but accessible to any player who has reached Faybreak Island and set up a breeding farm.

Celesdir Noct: Boss Location & Capture

For high-level players, the direct route is faster.

Fast travel to the seal at coordinates -1975, 1362. From there, head northeast across the bridge. A boss battle triggers at that location, and Celesdir Noct is one of the bosses that can appear.

Treat this as a standard boss encounter. Bring your best combat Pals, healing items, and high-tier Spheres. If the boss is not Celesdir Noct on your first attempt, you may need to reset or wait for the spawn rotation. Capture or defeat it based on your needs.
