If you haven’t unlocked fast travel points here yet, fly from the nearest tower or use a fast ground Pal like Direhowl to cross the border zones. The biome is distinct — orange-brown terrain, minimal vegetation, and heat effects if you lack heat-resistant armor or a cooling Pal.
2. Navigate to the center of the desert. The exact coordinates aren’t hardcoded in the game files as a named POI, but the landmark is unmistakable once you’re in the right area. Look for three large stones arranged in a tight cluster. They’re roughly waist-high, gray-brown, and stand out against the flat desert floor. The cluster sits near the middle of the biome, not at the edges or near any major dungeon entrance.
3. Destroy the three stones. Use a Pal with high mining damage — Digtoise, Reptyro, or even a strong Anubis — or break them manually with a high-tier pickaxe. - If the stones don’t appear, check your biome. The northeast desert is distinct from the smaller desert near the starting area. If you’re seeing green grass or water, you’re in the wrong region. The correct biome has no grass, only sand and rock formations.
- The underground chamber is small and safe. No enemies spawn inside. Once you grab the schematic, you can climb out using the same hole or fast travel away. Don’t worry about traps or fall damage — the drop is about two meters.
