The Wlet Tree biome holds a secret that most players will miss on their first sweep. Dandilord is not a random spawn or a dungeon boss—it is a fixed-level 78 encounter on the north side of the area, and it is designed to be farmed repeatedly with zero cooldown. This guide cuts through the noise and gives you the exact coordinates, the gear threshold you must meet, and the only two spheres worth your inventory space. If you want one of the most versatile high-level Pals in the game, you stop guessing and start here.
Overview
Your objective is straightforward: locate and capture Dandilord, the new boss Pal introduced in the 1.0 Update. This creature is not hidden behind a timer or a one-time event. It sits in a fixed location in the Wlet Tree biome and will respawn immediately after each capture attempt. The challenge is not finding it—the challenge is surviving the encounter and landing the catch with the correct equipment. Dandilord is a level 78 boss, meaning anything below level 70 gear will result in a quick defeat. The payoff is enormous: this Pal is Paldeck #194 and ranks among the best in the game for base work.
Steps
Begin by fast traveling or flying to the Wlet Tree biome. This area is marked on the map by a dense cluster of giant trees and elevated terrain. Do not wander the entire biome—your target is exclusive to the north side. Head directly north until you see the boss spawn point, which is a distinct clearing with no other high-level Pals nearby.

Before engaging, confirm your gear is above level 70. Anything less will leave you one-shot by Dandilord’s special skill. Equip your strongest armor and a weapon capable of sustained damage. For the capture phase, open your inventory and select either an Enchanted Sphere or a Soul Sphere. The Oatic Sphere is a trap—its catch rate against a level 78 boss is effectively zero. Do not waste it.
Dandilord is a solo boss with no adds. Start the fight and focus on depleting its health without killing it outright. The boss has no cooldown, so if you fail the capture, you can re-enter the area and try again immediately. Bring a fast mount—preferably a flying Pal—to navigate the Wlet Tree terrain quickly between attempts. Once the health bar is low, throw your sphere and hope for the best. Repeat until Dandilord is yours.
Tips & Troubleshooting
Dandilord is creature #194 in the Paldeck. Its value extends far beyond combat. The Pal possesses a unique special skill and an exceptional work suitability spread: Planting level 8, Handiwork level 6, and Medicine Production level 6. This combination makes it one of the most efficient base workers in the entire game, capable of handling three critical jobs at near-maximum efficiency. If you are building an automated farm or a medicine production line, this Pal is a priority catch.
If you cannot find Dandilord, double-check your position. The spawn is on the north side of the Wlet Tree biome, not the center or the south. It is a fixed spawn, so it will always be there. The most common mistake is arriving at the wrong edge of the biome. Use your map and look for the northernmost tree cluster. If you see no boss, you are in the wrong spot.
Finally, do not rush the capture. Dandilord hits hard, and a single mistake can end the attempt. Keep your health topped off, use your mount to dodge attacks, and only throw the sphere when you are confident the health bar is in the red zone. With the right gear and the correct sphere, this boss becomes a reliable farm—not a frustrating roadblock.
