Palworld 1.0: Silvance Pal Location Guide

The Palworld 1.0 Update introduces a formidable new Grass-type Pal, Silvance, and finding it is only half the battle. This guide delivers the exact coordinates for its single spawn point inside the Wlet Tree biome, the precise gear you must bring to survive the encounter, and the high-risk capture strategy required to bring a level 78 Pal to one health point. You will learn why standard capture methods fail and how to maximize your slim odds of success.

Overview

Silvance is a level 78 Grass Element Pal that spawns exclusively inside the Wlet Tree biome on the south side of the main map. It has no other habitat or spawn location. This single-spawn restriction makes the encounter predictable but also means you cannot farm multiple Silvance in different zones. The Pal is new to the 1.0 Update and offers a unique Partner Skill, Spore Stalwart, which grants immunity to the World Tree’s Explosive Spores and triggers explosion damage against Ivy-Covered enemies.

Prerequisites

Before traveling to the Wlet Tree biome, you must equip the following items to ensure you can reduce Silvance’s health without being defeated.

  • Enchanted Sphere: Standard spheres have a near-zero catch chance against a level 78 Pal. The Enchanted Sphere provides the highest base capture rate available.
  • Cannon and Bow Weapons: Use the cannon for initial damage and the bow for precise health control. A plasma weapon, as shown in demonstration footage, can lower health quickly but requires careful aim.
  • Enchant Armor: Silvance hits hard. Enchant Armor provides the necessary defense to survive multiple attacks while you chip away its health.
  • Fire Type Pal: Bring a Fire Element Pal to exploit Silvance’s Grass-type weakness. Fire attacks deal double damage and accelerate the health reduction phase.

Location

Silvance is found inside the Wlet Tree biome, specifically on the south side of the main map. Enter the marked location on your map to trigger the encounter. This is the only spawn point for this Pal; it does not appear anywhere else on the map. If you travel to any other biome or the northern half of the Wlet Tree area, you will waste time searching for a Pal that does not exist there.

Capture Steps

The capture process requires precise health management and patience. Follow these steps in order.

  1. Travel to the south side of the Wlet Tree biome. Use the map marker to navigate directly to the spawn zone.
  2. Enter the battle area. Silvance will aggro immediately. Do not attempt to throw a sphere from range while it is at full health.
  3. Use the cannon and bow to reduce Silvance’s health to 1 HP. The cannon deals heavy damage but is inaccurate for final adjustments. Switch to the bow for the last 10-15% of health to avoid accidentally defeating the Pal. If using a plasma weapon, fire in short bursts.
  4. Throw an Enchanted Sphere to attempt capture. Note that even at 1 HP, the catch chance is very low. The sphere will shake once or twice before breaking free in most attempts.
  5. Repeat until successful. Each failed capture resets the encounter. You must re-enter the battle area and repeat the health reduction process. Prepare for multiple attempts.

Notes

Silvance has a special skill and high stats. Its base stats are 140 HP, 120 Attack, and 110 Defense, making it a durable fighter with strong offensive output. It drops valuable items upon capture or defeat, including Giant Pal Soul (100%), Ancient Civilization Core (100%), World Tree Holy Water (50%), and Grass Radiant Gem (50%). The low-probability drops include Decayed Ancient Relic (10%) and Glistening Ancient Relic (2%). Its Partner Skill, Spore Stalwart, does not stack, so bringing multiple Silvance to a party provides no additional benefit. The Pal is exclusive to the main map; no other habitat exists.

Silvance Stats and Skills

Silvance is a Grass Element Pal with the following work suitability ratings: Planting Lv. 6, Handiwork Lv. 6, Medicine Lv. 8, Transporting Lv. 2, and Gathering Lv. 4. Its high Medicine rating makes it an excellent choice for base operations requiring healing or potion crafting. The Partner Skill Spore Stalwart grants immunity to the World Tree’s Explosive Spores while in the party and triggers explosions when attacking Ivy-Covered enemies, dealing damage equal to 40-60% of the player’s attack damage. This skill does not stack with multiple Silvance in the party.

Capture Failure Strategy

If you fail to capture Silvance after multiple attempts, you must reset the encounter. Leave the Wlet Tree biome entirely and return after a full in-game day cycle. The spawn will refresh, and Silvance will reappear at full health. During the fight, use a Fire Type Pal to exploit the Grass-type weakness. Fire attacks deal double damage and reduce the time needed to bring Silvance to 1 HP. Keep your Fire Pal alive by dodging Silvance’s special skill attacks, which can inflict status effects. Do not attempt to capture Silvance without Enchant Armor; one critical hit from a level 78 Pal can one-shot an unprepared player.
