Verify Integrity of Game Files on Steam

The easiest thing you can do is verifying the game files via Steam.

  1. Open Steam
  2. Go to the Library
  3. Select Lost Ark
  4. Right click and go to Properties
  5. Select Local Files
  6. Click Verify the integrity of game files
  7. Let the process go through – this might take a couple of minutes
  8. Launch the game & see if it worked

Re-link your Twitch & Steam Accounts

This option is only availabe for those who have a Twitch & Amazon account

  1. Go to Amazon Games[www.amazongames.com]
  2. Unlink your Steam account
  3. Go to Lost Ark Twitch Drops[www.playlostark.com]
  4. Unlink your Steam account
  5. Re-Link your accounts again on each website
  6. Restart Steam
  7. Launch the game & see if it worked

Disabling your Antivirus Program Temporarily

This option is only availabe if you have a 3rd party Antivirus Program installed & running

A solution that sounds pretty weird and suspicious is temporarily disabeling your Antivirus Program right before you launch Lost Ark via Steam.

  1. Deactivate your Antivirus Program
  2. Launch Lost Ark
  3. Let it load until you’re able to choose a server
  4. Start your Antivirus Program again

Disable Internet Protocol Version 6

  1. Press Windows Key + R
  2. Type ncpa.cpl in the searchbar
  3. Right click on Network
  4. Go to Properties
  5. Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6
  6. Save changes
  7. Launch the game & see if it worked

Refresh Game Credentials

  1. Open Windows Search and type cmd
  2. Run the command prompt as administrator
  3. Type ipconfig /flushdns & press enter
  4. Type ipconfig /registerdns & press enter
  5. Type ipconfig /release & press enter
  6. Type ipconfig /renew & press enter
  7. Type netsh winsock reset & press enter
  8. Restart your computer
  9. Launch the game & see if it worked

Wait inbetween each command for a few seconds

Mobile Internet & VPN

This option is only availabe if you have a VPN or can setup a mobile hotspot

Some people claim that using Mobile Internet or a VPN solved the problem.

Which method helped me personally?

I tried pretty much all of the suggestions that I mentioned in this guide and only disabeling my Antivirus before launching the game fixed the Authentication Failed Error 10010.
