Bellanoir (Pal #195) isn’t something you stumble across while exploring. There’s no wild habitat, no egg in the open world, no breeding shortcut. This is a raid boss, summoned by your own hand after a deliberate crafting chain that begins at an Expedition Station you probably haven’t built yet. If you’ve been wandering the map hoping to spot one, stop. You need a plan, a base upgrade, and a 30-minute timer. Here’s exactly how to get from zero to Bellanoir egg in your inventory.
Goal / Problem
Bellanoir is a unique Pal in the 1.0 update. It’s a tall, witch-like humanoid with a black gown, blueish-purple flames where legs should be, and a single antler protruding from its forehead. It’s Pal #195, and it has three work skills: Handiwork 2, Medicine Production 4, and Transporting 2. Its Partner Skill, Nightmare Iris, fires a powerful Nightmare Ray at enemies.
You cannot find this Pal in the wild. The only way to obtain it is through a specific multi-step process: run expeditions to collect fragments, craft a summoning item, build an altar, defeat the boss in a raid, and hatch the resulting egg. This guide covers every step in order, with the numbers you need to avoid wasting time.
Prerequisites
Before you can even think about summoning Bellanoir, you need to unlock two things and prepare one more.
- Defeat the second tower boss. This unlocks the Expedition Station at your base. If you haven’t beaten this boss yet, that’s your first real gate.
- Reach Technology Level 33. The Summoning Altar recipe is locked behind this level. You cannot craft it earlier.
- Prepare a raid area or a base with open space. The boss fight is not a small encounter. You’ll need room for 15 Pals to fight. A dedicated raid area is strongly recommended.
You also need a team of your 15 best Pals. Don’t bring weak filler. Bellanoir hits hard.
Steps to Get Bellanoir
This is the exact sequence. Follow it in order.

- Build the Expedition Station. Unlock it from the technology menu and place it at your base. It’s a large structure, so make sure you have space.
- Select the second expedition (Rescue). Open the station menu. The first expedition is for basic resources. The second one, labeled Rescue, is the one that drops Bellanoir fragments.
- Assign Pals to the expedition. You can auto-assign, but firepower matters. Higher firepower from your assigned Pals increases the quality of rewards. A 4-star, level 80 Pal provides roughly 150,000 firepower. Stack your best Pals here for maximum fragment yield.
- Wait 30 minutes. The expedition timer is fixed. You cannot speed it up. Use this time to prepare your raid area or craft healing items.
- Collect fragments. After the timer ends, you’ll receive Bellanoir fragments. You need exactly 4 fragments to craft the summoning item. You may get more than 4 (I’ve seen 17 in a single run), but 4 is the minimum requirement.
- Craft the summoning item. Open any crafting station (workbench, assembly line, etc.) and find the recipe that uses 4 Bellanoir fragments. Craft it.
- Build the Summoning Altar. Place the altar on a foundation in your base or raid area. The altar is a permanent structure, so pick a spot you’re okay with keeping.
- Summon Bellanoir. Interact with the altar. This starts the boss fight. Bring your 15 best Pals. Do not start this fight unprepared.
- Defeat Bellanoir. Upon victory, a Bellanoir egg will appear directly in your inventory. It does not drop on the ground. Check your inventory immediately.
- Hatch the egg. Build an Egg Incubator (unlock the recipe if you haven’t already) and place the Bellanoir egg inside. Wait for it to hatch.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Firepower is the only variable that matters for fragment yield. If you’re getting fewer than 4 fragments per run, upgrade your assigned Pals. Star rating and level directly increase firepower. A team of 4-star, level 80 Pals will reliably give you enough fragments in one run.
- Use a raid area for the boss fight. The Summoning Altar works in a base or raid area, but a raid area gives you more space and fewer obstacles. Your base structures can get destroyed during the fight.
- Bellanoir has no wild habitat. This is not a Pal you can catch in the open world. If you see someone claiming otherwise, they’re wrong. The expedition + summoning method is the only legitimate path.
- The Egg Incubator is required. You cannot hatch the Bellanoir egg without it. Make sure you have one built before you defeat the boss.
- Bellanoir is Pal #195. Its elemental weaknesses: it takes 0.5x damage from Neutral, 1x from Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Ground, and Dark, and 1.5x from Dragon. Bring Dragon-type Pals if you have them.
- Bellanoir’s drops include Ancient Civilization Cores, Multiclimate Undershirt +1, a Huge Dark Egg (containing Bellanoir), Training Crystals, and Training Manuals (XL). The egg is the main prize, but the other drops are valuable for endgame crafting and Pal training.
- Breeding uses for Bellanoir: It can be used to breed several other Pals. For example, Bellanoir + Jolthog Cryst = Tarantriss, Bellanoir
